Idiopathic cystitis
Feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) is a collection of conditions that affects the bladder and urethra of cats. One of these conditions -- the most common -- is feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC), which is inflammation of the bladder with an unknown cause. About two-thirds of cats with FLUTD have FIC, the cause is unknown but appears to be strongly related to stress. Reasuring cat pheromones such as Pet Remedy or Feliway reduce stress levels significantly, and can support the effectiveness of Cystitab.
How does AA Cystitab work?
AA Cystitab attaches to the damaged bladder wall and urinary tract, reducing inflammation and promoting healthy bladder function. It helps to restore the damaged bladder wall and keep it healthy.
1 Tablet contains 125 mg N-Acetyl D Glucosamin
Administer directly into the mouth, or crush and mix with food.
First week: 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight, twice daily.
The following 3 weeks: 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight, once daily.
Maintenance dose: 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight, every other day.
