Calcarea Hahnemanni, also called Calcaera carbonica: is made from the middle layer of shells (Ostrea edulis, family Acephala).

General fatigue, swelling of the lymph nodes, nutritional disorder of bone with calcium deficiency. Calcarea is the constitutional remedy for heavy-boned and young animals. Worse on exertion and damp, cold weather. Better when they are warm

The homeopathic calcium therapy is no substitution therapy, but it stimulates the calcium metabolism of the organism (calcium ion metabolism). In slow growth, symptoms of rickets and lymphadenopathy, Osteosal provides valuable assistance. Moist seborrheic eczema are positively influenced.

In young patients with diarrhoea, who have symptoms of light yellow or milky greenish stool with sour smell, and often also a percentage of undigested components, a treatment with Osteosal® can be helpful.

In the dog, the genetically predisposed hip dysplasia can be prevented or mitigated at a very young puppy age. (as of the first day of life)

In cattle Osteosal® acts prophylactically against milk fever, postparturient hypocalcemia, or parturient paresis

In the young horses (during growth) the bone metabolism is positively influenced, which reduces the risk of so-called chip-formation in the joints.
