Panacur tablets are used in the treatment of gastro-intestinal roundworms and tapeworms and in puppies and kittens with gastro-intestinal roundworms and puppies infected with protozoa.
Panacur KH 500 Dog and Cat Wormer
Panacur tablets are used in the treatment of gastro-intestinal roundworms and tapeworms and in puppies and kittens with gastro-intestinal roundworms and puppies infected with protozoa. Panacur tablets are also used in pregnant bitches (not in an early stage) to reduce prenatal infections of Toxocara canis and their transfer to their pups via the milk.
Infestation of dogs and cats with the following gastrointestinal nematodes and tapeworms:
- Roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Toxocara mystax)
- Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma tubaeformae)
- Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis)
- Tapeworm (Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis)
- Infestation of puppies with Giardia spp.
(The drug is not effective against Echinococcus and Dipylidien.)
Active ingredient:
Fenbendazole 500 mg
The tablets are entered either directly in the mouth or mixed in feed
1 tablet for 10 kg body weight
1 ½ tablets for 15 body weight
2 tablets for 20 body weight
3 tablets for 30 body weight
4 tablets for 40 body weight
The treatment should be repeated on three consecutive days.
