ZymoSanPancreatic Enzyme Powder is used as a digestive aid, replacement therapy where digestion of protein, carbohydrate and fat is inadequate due to exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. (EPI)
Contains per gram powder:
- 22.800 USP of Lipase (needed to digest fats and oils)
- 95,000 USP of Protease (needed to digest proteins)
- and 95,000 USP Amylase (needed to digest carbohydrates)
Indications;
- Acute pancreatitis
- Chronic pancreatitis (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency or EPI)
Instructions
The recommended dose is:
- Dog: 1 measuring scoop every meal.
- Kat: 1/4 - 3/4 measuring scoop with every mael.
Deze dosage should be adjusted to the severity of pancreatic insufficiency and the weight of the animal .
- In acute pancreatitis: dogs who survived an acute attack of pancreatitis should be put on a light diet with temporary additional ZymoSan.
- In chronic pancreatitis, the treatment should be continued for life. Increase, if neccesary, the dosage until the desired result (consult your Vet). Feed three times a day and provide easily digestible food with enough protein and carbohydrates of high quality and low fat.
