Indications
Beaphar Milquestra is a broad spectrum wormer. If given monthly, it also offers prevention against heartworm.
Beaphar Milquestra protects against roundworm (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense), whipworm (Trichuris vulpis) and tapeworm (Dipylidum caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, Taenia spp).
If given monthly, Beaphar Milquestra protects dogs also against the heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis).
Milquestra for dogs can be used in puppies from 2 weeks of age and onwards, and from 0.5kg in bodyweight. Treatment is oral.
Treatment:
Once every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age;
Then once every three months for protection against intestinal worms;
Or once a month for added heartworm prevention, preferably on the same date.
Adult dogs should be tested for heartworm before receiving Beaphar Milquestra. If a dose is missed, treat immediately and resume monthly dosing.
Milbemycin oxime and praziquantel are the active ingredients in Beaphar Milquestra
This formulation is not suitable for use in cats.
