Puur Apis/ Allergy

Pure Apis is a supplementary animal feed that supports the skin's ability to recover from insect bites and allergic reactions.

Ingredients

Diluted extracts of Apis mellifera, marigold (Calendula officinalis), stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) and black currant (Ribes nigrum). Alcohol 34% v/v.

The ingredients according to traditional use;

Apis mellifera is prescribed for insect stings, bites and itching . But is also iused in stinging, pricking and burning sensations and inallergic reactions with swelling and redness.

Marigold (Calendula officinalis) supports the skin's regenerative capacity.

Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) is a blood purifier.

Black currant (Ribes nigrum) is good for the skin and is traditionally given for inflammation.

For horses, start giving the drops as early as possible in the season (February/March).  PUUR Apis can be perfectly combined with PUUR Culico. If possible, give PUUR Culico in the morning and PUUR Apis in the evening.

PUUR Apis can be combined with PUUR Derma Vital, PUUR Omega-3 Extra or Doils Skin for dogs and cats.

Dosage

1 - 2 x daily (1 ml = 20 drops)

Horse 20 - 30 drops

Dog 10 - 15 drops

Cat 5 - 10 drops

Shake well before use.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time per 2 days will suffice. Then give the maximum dose of one day. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, carefully observe the reaction of the animal. A higher dose may be required in the beginning, this product can be safely given in a double dose. When improving, gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose.

Administration

Give this product directly into the mouth with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal because the product works better when it is absorbed by the clean oral mucosa.

If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small piece of treat.

Interaction and contraindication

Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the attending veterinarian.
