Diarrhea with vomiting and cramps. Vomiting does not improve the nausea.
An important symptom is the absence of any kind of coating on the tongue.
Diarrhea with vomiting in small animals without stress on the circulatory system (with simultaneous circulatory insufficiency Veratrum should be considered instead).
Periodicity of symptoms, every 2nd day recurring.
Tendency to bright red, heavy flowing hemorrhages.
Ruminants and horses cannot vomit; with them it leads to diarrhea:
The diarrheas are yellow-greenish, watery, frothy, as if fermented, also bloody.
The intestinal catarrh can also result in violent cramp colics with severe abdominal pain; in the process the body is stretched and kept stiff.
Horses are extremely restless, throw themselves down and jump back up just as suddenly; they moan and look around to the back. ( In such acute or serious complaints one should always instantly seek medical advice from a Vet.!!)
